Sooooo excited to participate in Jungle Learner's product swap. I usually don't like to participate in things like this, but Melissa is SUPER organized and I landed a great swap partner...Heather from Recipe For Teaching.
It was fun to cruise through someone's TpT store knowing that I was getting to pick whatever I wanted! We are getting ready to start our teen number unit, so I chose
10-19 Teen Number Activities from Heather's Teachers Pay Teachers Store. I love her little tag line "don't let teen numbers be a monster to learn" because we all know that they can be little monsters for some of our kids.
This unit consists of activities to practice teen number identification. There are 10 activities included in this unit. They are all activities that take very little prep time. You could win this unit and use it right away. In the activity shown, students draw a card that has a number represented with 10 frames, find the number on their paper and color it in. These little mathematicians loved it!
These activities would be great to use whole group or for guided math groups. I plan on using them for my guided math groups. The activity shown above can also be used with number cards for students that are not ready for the ten frames.
