Shape Detectives

We used our iPads to go on shape hunts.

During our first hunt we looked for flat shapes.

During our second hunt we looked for solid shapes.

So proud of these little detectives and their mathematical thinking!

These cute shape detectives are hunting for 2D and 3D shapes and taking pictures of them on iPads. No iPads, no problem...this also includes recording sheets.

I am changing up my theme days a little this year.

We performed "My Colorful Shoes" last Theater Thursday.

We performed "Rocking in My School Shoes" this week for Theater Thursday.

We are having a blast performing reader's theaters!

This is our second TECHNOLOGY TUESDAY. We have been learning how to play different ABC apps. I put pictures up on the Smartboard of the apps that they are allowed to use. The apps we used today are Letters A to Z, Letter Lab and ABC Tracer.

getting a little more organized

After "Christmas Crazy" was over and the leftovers have been eaten, most of Christmas has been put away, the house is clean and the laundry is almost caught up...I got to spend some time in my jammies organizing my computer and blog. I first started with organizing my desktop and moved on to cleaning out the starred items in my Google Reader.
