On our 100th Day we...
traced the numbers from 1-100
put together 100 frame puzzles
we danced to some counting songs
we wrote about what we could eat 100 of
we read 100 books
we drew what we would look like when we are 100 years old
we ate a special "Cooking with Mrs. Raymore" snack
It is sooooo much fun to be 100 days smarter!!!
I am a new kindergarten teacher and absolutely LOVE all the ideas from your blog. I am so thrilled I accidentally came across it when I recently googled ideas for lesson plans. I can't wait to implement these 100 day ideas asap. Keep up the great work and keep the posts coming!!

Can you please tell me how your children can write so well? I never have more than 2 or 3 children who can write that well at the end of the year. I would love to know what you do!!

I do writing workshop every day and I love it. Check out Lucy Calkins' new units of study coming out in March.
DeleteI am currently in a program to get my Masters in Teaching. I found your blog through a class project to find blogs that are centered around the grade levels that we hope to teach, and let me tell you I'm SO HAPPY that I found your blog! I really love how you incorporate so many pictures and videos that show your learning in action! And what a creative use of activities to teach a certain theme. I look forward to seeing what else you have to share!
ReplyDeleteHI! I am your newest follower! I LOVE your blog!!
