Hooray For the 100th Day!!

We had a great 100th day of school today.
We wrote about what we would buy with $100.
This idea came from Mrs. Gagne's Kindergarten and a coworker had the giant $100 from
I could eat 100...
We made "100" hats that we practiced
counting by 10s to 100 on.
We colored in numbers on a 100 chart
to reveal a surprise 100!
We made a 100th day snack out of a pretzel rod and mini bagel covered in
peanut butter and sprinkles.
We drew pictures of ourselves today and in 100 years. The inspiration for this activity came from Teach Kids Art.
We read lots of books about 100.

  1. I found large $100 bills at dollar tree. They were 30 for one dollar!

  4. Hello, This Is Catherine Wood. I teach in Grand Prairie TX and April Larremore has helped us set up the SKYPE project for Valentines Day we are doing. We missed 100 day this week due to the weather here in TX, but we will be having it on Tuesday. My kids can't wait to meet your students as they have already learned their names and wrote letters to them. We also flew to Ohio on Google Earth and saw photos of your school and the neighborhood. This really got my students excited about writing to your class. We are looking forward to seeing and opening your Valentines. I hope we will be able to keep in touch. Thanks, Catherine Wood
