Genius idea! I love the spelling and pictures. I can see adding this to the vowel work we do in my room. We focus on 1 vowel for 2 weeks and this book will be great for the 2nd week. Thank you!
This is such a good idea, and I will definitely be using with my little ones that haven't quite picked up all of their short and long vowel sounds yet. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for sharing these! Is this a permanent part of your students' reading/writing journal or a separate entity? Also....are the students coming up with their own examples after brainstorming or referring to a list you've written with them? That's my usual "Modus Operandi" and I'm trying to figure out how to fit this in.
This is a book that the kids make. I used the book that you can download on this post. These students came up with their own ideas, but some of my students used various supports.
Those are adorable! Thank you for sharing this!!
