my classroom is ready for the children to arrive...
the front of my classroom
our meeting area and Smartboard
 my desk and reading area
my chart board...as we create charts they will go on this board 
science, nonfiction books and math manipulative
 art/writing center
 writing workshop organization, computers and listening center
my room is ready and I am looking forward to meeting 
my new kindergarten friends this week

  9. I love looking at your beautiful pictures! I have to laugh because I also color coordinate my scissors and their holders. And, my yellow holder has orange scissors, too because I can never find yellow scissors anywhere!

    1. The star word charts are a word document that I sent to Vistaprint to be made into a poster. They have different sizes. I took our K sight words and divided them into 2 lists of 15.

  24. First: Like everyone else I love your room!
    Second: The rolling cart labeled 1-6- what do you use that for? I have one and am trying to find a new use this year.
    Last: I love your supply organization but I don't see crayons or pencils- what do you do with those?

    1. I use the 1-6 cart for word work activities.
      I keep my crayons in big round bins and there is a container of pencils that always stays on the kids' tables.

  25. Oh wow! I have just been told I am moving to Prep (Kindergarten in Australia) after my first 2 years of teaching as a Grade 1 teacher. I am on the prowl now for ideas of how to set up my supplies and this is just amazing! I may have to steal a few ideas... hehehe... :)
