I am SO glad that I found your site. It is so informative & cute. I will be starting my first teaching job as a Kindergarten teacher on the 7th! I am so excited, yet so nervous. Your blog will help me a lot!!!!!
My favorite Dr. Seuss book would have to be Green Eggs and Ham!
Hi! I just found your blog! It's cute! My favorite Seuss book is Fox in Socks. I still have my original copy from the 80's...the spine is worn and frayed, but I bust it out on Read Across America every year!
I love Dr. Seuss with my all-time favorite being "The Cat in the Hat". My students love to make a hat to wear in class similar to the cat's and I dress up at Halloween as the Cat.
Who can pick just one? So many of them have special memories for me...ranging from my Grandmother reading to me...reading to my own children.. to reading to my Kindergarten students. I guess I would have to pick "The Foot Book." Why this one? My autistic son, Alec is now 16-years-old and will still recite this book out of the blue. Day after day he struggled to understand his world and this book was a sense of comfort many times. He would come out of his aggressive behavior and start reciting the book with me.
My favorite Dr. Seuss book is "I'm Not Going To Get Up Today" because it echoes the thoughts in my head! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I just want to tell you that you spelled Seuss wrong "Suess".
Thanks! Doing too much too fast:) I will fix it tonight.
