If You Give...

We read four If You Give... books, recorded the main character and the setting and picked our favorite.
These are some pages from our Reading and Writing Notebooks...

  2. Great! Where did you find your composition notebooks that are blank pages? I was just assessing kinders on this today and "contrasting" two versions!

  4. Just wondering how you manage so many journals? I am new to kinder. Normally, my older students would have just kept all three in their desks but I am thinking it might be too confusing for the little ones.

    1. Check out the post I did this summer about my notebooks and I think you will get a better understanding of how they work. I try to think about things that I used to run copies of and turn them into notebook entries. I love their drawings vs dittos and fill in the blanks.
