    I love this! We do a unit on our state/community/map skills later in the spring and I will definitely plan on my kids making a huge wall mural map! Thanks for the inspiration!

      FYI I took pictures of all of these places in our community to make this activity more meaningful for my students. This also helped with the discussion of businesses that are in our community and ones that are not. Everyone got to pick a place that they have visited and used the pictures to make their drawings. Good Luck!
