This is an amazing book, written by an amazing person who inspired me to start doing these amazing self portraits. This is one of my favorite activities of the year. These amazing portraits will hang in our room all year long.
I got to meet Ann Marie a coupe of summers ago.

Okay!!!! I sincerely LOVE these. It looks like they did a crayon drawing then added water colors? What a treasure! I am going to have to copy your wonderful idea! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE they way they turned out!

Deedee, Ann Marie gives several ideas in her book, but we "whisper" drew ourselves, filled in our drawings with oil pastels and watercolored the background.
