Vocabulary




I read Sharon Taberski's book this summer and attended her workshop based on this book...
 
After reading this book, which I loved, I had a few things that I wanted to do right away. One was Readers Theater and if you are a regular follower of this blog, you know that we have been doing Readers Theater and my students have loved it. Another goal was to do more with vocabulary. I loved Sharon's WOW Words. Though I have done a little with vocabulary, I have not done as much as I wanted to. A couple of blogs lately have reminded me of this. Check out these posts that have reminded me of that goal I set so long ago back in August.

    I read Sharon's book this past summer too! Have you also watched the companion videos? They're excellent, too. I've been trying to incorporate more vocabulary as well but have gotten a bit off track with the "busy-ness" of school. Your post is a good reminder to get back at it - thanks!
